Electrical Engineer
NDI Engineering Company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design of US Navy test facilities. This position will be based out of our office in Thorofare, NJ.
The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical systems design, development, and testing, specifically in electrical power generation, distribution, conversion, or transmission. The candidate will also have experience using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
Job Responsibilities
- · Develop electric power one-line diagrams with assistance from Senior Engineer.
- · Review system design requirements and establish analyses criteria.
- · Develop cabling arrangement models and drawings.
- · Prepare wiring diagrams or tables.
- · Conduct and document design analyses demonstrating the suitability of designs.
- · Review and check engineering drawings of cabling routing, cabling support and electrical equipment installation.
- · Communicate with others on the project team and with the customer’s technical personnel.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be a US citizen and able to qualify for a DoD Secret clearance.
- Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
- Work in the NDI Thorofare office is required.
- Have strong verbal and written communications skills.
- AutoCAD or equivalent experience required; SKM power systems analysis and design software experience preferred.
