Senior software engineer
TITLE: Senior Software EngineerLOCATION: 2 Gateway Center, Newark, NJ 07102SALARY: From $103,210 - $106,000 per yearDUTIES: Work with product managers, business users, and other members of the team to understand software requirements and author code that satisfies those requirements. Perform coding following the best software engineering principles and SDLC processes, including documenting software design and code. Collaborate with team members to design and implement multi-tiered enterprise solutions that are feature-rich, performant, and maintain a high degree of test automation. Participate in daily standup meetings, team design sessions, code reviews, and contribute to architectural decisions. Troubleshoot production issues as needed.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, computer engineering, or in a related field plus 2 years of related experience. Previous experience to include: Java, RDBMS, SQL, Python, NOSQL, Shell programming, and RESTful Web Services. *Position is based in Newark, NJ and role holder is eligible to work remotely on a hybrid basis, with manager and HR approval.APPLICANTS: [email protected].
