We’re seeking a dynamic Salon Operator (Floor Manager) to lead operations, drive growth, and uphold our brand promise at Image Unisex Barbrshop & Salon (Sicklerville, NJ).

What You’ll Do:

• Manage day-to-day salon operations: opening & closing procedures, team scheduling, chair/station assignment, ensuring smooth service flow and high-quality client experience.
• Lead, coach and motivate stylists: onboarding new staff, providing guidance/training, holding team accountable for standards (cut quality, customer service, sanitation, upsell).
• Monitor performance metrics: client retention, average ticket, add-on sales, service volume, retail sales; and implement strategies to improve them.
• Manage inventory, ordering of supplies/retail products, maintain stock levels, control costs, and ensure compliance with health & safety/sanitation regulations.
• Collaborate with owner/management in marketing initiatives (promotions, events, social media tie-ins), monitor online reviews, client feedback, and help execute community-oriented events/ partnerships.
• Ensure salon environment meets brand standards: cleanliness, appearance, equipment maintenance, ambient client experience (waiting area, amenities).
• Foster a positive team culture, schedule regular team meetings/training, mediate issues, support staff career growth and retention.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience (3+ years) in salon or barbershop management, ideally with a full-service environment (men’s and women’s services).
• Strong operational management skills: scheduling, staffing, budgeting, inventory control, performance metrics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for hair business, customer service excellence, and a team-first mindset.
• Ability to analyze data (service counts, average spend, retention rates) and translate into actionable plans.
• Familiarity with Fresha, POS/salon software, retail product selling, and marketing/promotional activities a plus.
• NJ cosmetology or barber license (or ability to be licensed) desirable but not strictly required if you have strong operational background.
