Preferred Financial Solutions is a small family-owned tax preparation and bookkeeping business serving our clients for over 35 years. As a front office manager, we are looking for an individual that is highly motivated, detail oriented, has great interpersonal skills and is very organized. You must also have the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. If the front office manager has experience or qualifications pertaining to income tax preparation and/or bookkeeping, you may be asked to assist in those areas as well.

Minimum Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Excellent communication and client service skills

Preferred Qualifications: (Not Required)

· Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance

· Knowledge with Drake and QuickBooks software

· Experience in tax preparation and/or bookkeeping

· Knowledge with tax laws

Pay Rate:

· Starting $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience

Hours:

· This position requires 30-40 hours per week, hours worked can be flexible. Additional days and hours may be required during tax season (February through April).

Paid Time Off:

· Paid sick leave

· PTO given after one (1) year of employment

Responsibilities:

· Greet clients in a professional and friendly manner.

· Answer client inquiries and direct clients to the proper firm personnel.

· Schedule and confirm appointments.

· Perform data entry, maintain account payables and account receivables for various entities.

· Ensure the office is tidy and supplies are accessible.

· Maintain client confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Training:

· On-site training will be provided as often as required to maintain state and federal compliance requirements.

· Annual trainings will also be provided to keep up to date on major tax and accounting
