I am looking for a reliable Class A CDL Local Driver to operate commercial motor vehicles on routes. The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, strong attention to safety, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles (tractor-trailer, flatbed, tanker, or other assigned equipment)
- Perform deliveries and pickups within designated service areas
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Secure loads properly and ensure freight is transported safely
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and other required documentation
- Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, state, and company safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management
- Provide professional customer service at delivery and pickup locations
- Report vehicle defects, accidents, or traffic violations promptly
- Maintain a clean and well-functioning vehicle
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Clean or acceptable driving record as defined by company policy
- Minimum 6 month to 1 years of verifiable Class A driving experience (preferred/required)
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background chec
- Strong time management and organizational skills
Work Schedule
- OTC and Regional routes
- Day shift / Night shift / Weekends as required
