Executive Assistant
- Manages the office area of the CEO. Supports CFO and senior managers, serving as administrator, secretary and receptionist.
- Composes and directs written communication to various people, both outside and within the financial institution.
- Processes letters of technical and confidential nature.
- Responsible for the physical flow of paperwork within the department, including filing, handling and dispersing incoming and outgoing mail, updating records, and compiling reports.
- Takes minutes at board of directors and executive committee meetings and all official meetings as needed. Acts as official custodian of minutes and all proxies assigned by members.
- Arranges appointments and meetings as requested by persons within and outside the financial institution.
- Screens telephone calls and visitors.
- Works closely with federal examiners and outside independent auditors in their regular official examinations of the financial institution.
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma required, some college desired.
- 5-7 years previous administrative assistance experience at the executive level.
- Computer literate, including knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and internet search.
- Must be detail oriented with excellent follow up skills and the ability to multi-task.
- Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management.
- Experience with taking and transcribing meeting minutes.
- Ability to work independently.
