Job Description

This position requires the ability to perform a variety of general labor functions in an outdoor yard environment. You must be comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and all weather conditions. The role involves undertaking various labor-related tasks, including sweeping, cleaning up oil spills, moving and lifting materials, and operating a forklift after receiving training.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties in an outdoor environment.
• Comfortably work in varied weather conditions, including hot, cold, and wet.
• Lift materials weighing up to 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs as part of a team lift.
• Conduct tasks such as sweeping, picking up debris, and moving materials.
• Assist workers in their designated areas.
• Operate a forklift, preferably with sit-down experience, after training.
• Handle material efficiently and safely.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift 50 lbs independently and up to 100 lbs in a team lift.
• Experience in general labor tasks, including sweeping and cleaning.
• Proficiency in moving materials and assisting in various job functions.
• Comfortable working in outdoor weather conditions.
• Capability to interact with customers in the yard.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred experience in sit-down forklift operation.
• Material handling proficiency.
• Commitment to performing tasks safely.

Work Environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mays Landing, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
