Remote Lead Vice President, Engineering

Accountabilities

• Develop and implement the technology strategy aligning with business goals.
• Oversee the entire engineering lifecycle including product development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the engineering team, fostering innovation and collaboration.
• Lead recruitment and development of high-performing engineering teams.
• Ensure adherence to best practices in software engineering, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
• Manage the transition towards AI-native development practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and effective product releases.
• Manage budgets and vendor relationships that support engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ability to build and scale high-performing engineering teams.
• In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Experience with SaaS platforms, cloud architecture, and multi-tenant systems.
• Proven track record with AI/ML technologies and practices.
• Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
