Forklift Operator (Union Position)

- Load and unload trucks, receive stock, and put away inventory
- Pull and prepare customer order, palletize/ wrap orders
- Secure (strap down) tractor-trailers after loading
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and yard always
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality in all tasks
- Conduct accurate inventory counts and cycle counting for
- Align all communications and actions with the company’s mission, vision, and culture
- Manage time effectively, meet personal and team goals, and collaborate productively with coworkers
- Understand & follow all company policies and procedures
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Process and ship orders via Amazon and FedEx
- Drug test, Background check, Reference check, Pass a forklift field test
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience operating a forklift & working in a warehouse environment
- Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Dependable, punctual, and reliable transportation to arrive and be ready to work at the scheduled time
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Trustworthy, with strong communication skills
- Must be coachable and accountable
- Basic math skills
- Works with a high level of accountability
- Experience with building materials (preferred)
- Bilingual abilities (preferred)
- Regularly required to sit while operating a forklift
- Required to get on and off the forklift frequently
- Frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, twist, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, push, pull, grasp, lift, and handle objects/tools
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Good sense of balance, hand-eye coordination, and ability to judge weights, distances, and heights
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the season
