IT Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking an IT Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate needs to lead cross-functional delivery efforts, ensuring projects meet functionality, quality, and timeline expectations.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

IT Project Manager job responsibilities include:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee delivery of project milestones across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget.

• Facilitate project routines and governance activities, including kick-offs, status reviews, change controls, and stakeholder meetings.

• Manage risks, dependencies, and impediments to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.

• Communicate project status, issues, and performance metrics to stakeholders and leadership.

• Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and support resource planning and forecasting.

• Promote collaboration across cross-functional teams to meet business objectives and client expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 5–7 years of experience in project management, change management, or PMO roles.

• Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional technology projects in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

• Strong communication, facilitation, and risk management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
