Full-Time | Monday–Friday | $175,000 – $200,000+

A well-established, high-volume automotive dealership in Northern New Jersey is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Director / Service Manager to lead its service department.

This leadership role is ideal for a proven automotive service professional who can drive service department profitability, technician productivity, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction while building and leading a high-performing team.

• $175,000 – $200,000+ earning potential (inclusive of bonuses and commission)

• Oversee the daily operations of the automotive service department

• Lead and support service advisors, technicians, and support staff

• Monitor technician productivity, shop efficiency, service KPIs, and departmental profitability

• Drive high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and service revenue

• Manage service scheduling, repair workflow, dispatching, and repair quality

• Ensure compliance with manufacturer policies, warranty procedures, and dealership standards

• Collaborate closely with the parts and sales departments to support dealership operations

• Resolve escalated customer concerns and maintain a positive service experience

• Identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and overall fixed operations results

• 5+ years of Automotive Service Manager or Service Director experience

• Proven experience running a high-volume dealership service department

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills

• Ability to analyze reports, identify trends, and improve service department performance

• Strong focus on customer satisfaction, employee accountability, and operational efficiency

• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
