Zalta Capital is looking to hire a full time Construction Manager for one of its affiliated companies - NRZ Luxury Builders. The Construction Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role involves planning, organizing, and managing resources, schedules, and budgets while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and ensuring all safety and quality standards are met. Zalta Capital is a Management Services Organization (MSO) dedicated to providing executive-level and administrative support to a portfolio of companies that span multiple industries. We centralize strategic and operational functions to ensure efficient, high-level management across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Management: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of labor, materials, and equipment to optimize project progress.
- Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures, identify cost overruns, and implement strategies to stay within budget.
- Schedule Management: Tracs project progress, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to maintain the project timeline.
- Quality Control: Ensure work is performed to the required standards and specifications, conducting inspections and implementing quality control measures.
- Communication and Collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Safety Management: Enforce safety regulations and promote a safe working environment, minimizing risks and preventing accidents.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage unforeseen issues that may arise during the project.
- Subcontractor Management: Select and manages subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (required or preferred)
- 3-6 years of experience in construction management or project management roles
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from start to finish, on time and within budget
- Experience working with subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and permitting authorities
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Proficient in project scheduling and budgeting software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar)
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects or phases simultaneously
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and risk management practices
- Valid drivers license (required)
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) certification is a plus
- Annual salary range: $80,000-$100,000
