Real Estate Paralegal

Location: Roseland, NJ 07068

Schedule: Full-time | 40+ hours per week | Hybrid/Flexible (2 to 3 days per week onsite)

Salary: $55,000 – $75,000 base salary

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of complex real estate transactions, ensuring seamless coordination from initial contract drafting to post-closing document recording.
• Conduct thorough reviews of due diligence materials, title reports, and surveys, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Prepare and organize essential transaction documentation, including entity formation and closing binders.
• Coordinate title and survey matters, liaising with attorneys, lenders, and clients to facilitate efficient closings.
• Manage escrow closings, ensuring all financial and legal obligations are met.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree minimum with Paralegal certification or equivalent bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of real estate paralegal experience in a legal or corporate environment.
• Proficiency in summarizing complex legal documents and maintaining detailed transaction checklists.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a proven ability to coordinate with external counsel and vendors effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite and PDF software such as Kofax or Adobe.
• Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain.
• Familiarity with corporate documentation processes, including SS-4 forms and EIN filings.
• Strong electronic document management skills, with excellent multitasking and time management capabilities.
• Adaptability to fast-paced transactional timelines and potential overtime demands.
