Order & Sales Department Coordinator

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9 to 5

IN-OFFICE Edison, NJ location

We’re looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our Orders & Sales department as a Sales Operations Coordinator. This position reports directly to our Sales Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assist with daily tasks to streamline the order and sales process. This includes entering, tracking, and managing customer orders from placement through fulfillment.
• Communicate with customers, brokers, and internal teams regarding order status, changes, or issues.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams on special projects, troubleshoot problems and ensuring timely delivery of goods
• Maintain accurate customer records and data
• Assist with basic reports and projects to support sales operations and management
• Help implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the department
• Provide general administrative support to the Sales Operations Manager and sales team.
• Learn the ins and outs of sales operations and gain exposure to the importing and distribution industry.

Qualifications:

• College degree preferred but not required
• 3-5 years of Food Industry-related office experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience in MS Excel
• Proactive with excellent follow-through.
• Strong interpersonal, oral/written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment.
• Positive, team-player attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Some office, customer service or sales support experience preferred but not required.
