Respiratory Therapist Position

Licensed Respiratory Therapist position available in New Jersey. Visit patients in their homes for respiratory equipment setups. Per Diem position in growing Medical Supply Company. Travel required around NJ. Must be registered, NJ licensed Respiratory Therapist. Please submit resume for consideration. Salary plus travel time & expenses

We are seeking a highly-skilled and compassionate respiratory therapist to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in patient care. Experience working as a respiratory therapist is a must. You should have a patient-centered, caring approach and a proven ability to work as part of a team.

Respiratory Therapist Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all necessary respiratory procedures using non-invasive methods, e.g. CPAP and BIPAP therapies
• Educate patients on basic respiratory therapy procedures
• Carefully follow doctors' instructions and conduct all prescribed therapies accurately and completely
• Document all treatments and report to office
• Maintain compliance with all laws and policies

Respiratory Therapist Requirements and Qualifications

• Associate degree in respiratory therapy
• Valid RRT or CRT license, current and in good standing
• 2+ years of experience as a licensed respiratory therapist
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong working knowledge of most up-to-date therapy procedures for patients
• Excellent bedside manner
