Warehouse Manager (E-Commerce)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced ECommerce, Warehouse Manager to oversee our supply company’s warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, transport logistics, and team leadership. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse, from receiving and storing products to shipping out orders accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Operations : Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
• Inventory Management : Implement and maintain inventory control systems, conduct regular audits, and manage stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
• Order Fulfillment : Ensure accurate and timely processing of all orders, working closely with the shipping department to meet delivery deadlines.
• Team Leadership : Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Transport Logistics : Oversee transport logistics for both import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and cost-efficiency.
• Safety Compliance : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions.
• Reporting and Analysis : Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory status, and transport logistics to senior management.
• Technology Utilization : Utilize warehouse management software and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a ECommerce Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager or in a similar role within wholesale, retail, supply or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and transport logistics. NetSuite preferred, not required
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Effective leadership and team management skills.
• Ecommerce Platforms: Amazon, FBA, Walmart, eBay experience preferred, not required
• Products Shipped: Preferred experience shipping one (1) of the following: Home goods, consumer goods, beauty supplies, supply parts, after-market parts or sundries
• Industries: Must have two (2) of the following: Retail, Wholesale, or Distribution
• Proficiency in warehouse management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Close vision, and color vision ability required
• Safely and effectively lifting, carrying, and moving objects of varying weights
• Bending, stooping, reaching, balancing, standing, and walking for extended periods and maintaining the necessary physical dexterity and coordination
• Working in various environmental conditions, which may include exposure to varying temperatures, and noise levels at times

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, measurable years of experience or a related field preferred, NOT required.
