Coverage Defense Attorney – PIP Insurance Defense
Handle PIP insurance defense and coverage litigation matters from inception through trial, including first-party and third-party auto claims, coverage disputes, depositions, motions, and courtroom advocacy.

What You Will Do- Handle insurance coverage defense litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.
- Defend PIP-related matters and manage first-party and third-party personal auto insurance claims.
- Handle coverage disputes involving BI claims, UM/UIM claims, auto physical damage, rescission, and order of priority issues.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Draft and argue motions, including motions in limine and other litigation motions.
- Conduct trials through verdict, including presenting and cross-examining expert and lay witnesses.
- Independently manage a full litigation caseload.
- Collaborate with litigation support staff in a paperless legal environment.
- Utilize litigation technology and courtroom presentation tools effectively.
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active New Jersey Bar license in good standing.
- 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
- Mandatory experience in PIP insurance defense litigation.
- Strong insurance coverage defense background.
- Trial experience through verdict required.
- Experience handling first-party and third-party personal auto insurance claims.
- Knowledge of New Jersey discovery rules, trial procedures, and insurance law.
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, deposition, and courtroom advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage litigation matters.
