Group Fitness Instructor

The MAX Challenge of Freehold is looking for ROCK STAR Instructors to teach high energy, fast paced, motivating group exercise classes. Seeking leaders with exceptional people skills, the ability to develop close-knit relationships, and those willing to take on the responsibility of leading individuals to achieve their health and wellness goals. This position is for a responsible, consistently reliable, organized, health conscious and fit individual who can both write and execute an amazing workout plan. Coach, train, inspire, connect with team members to deliver an energetic, positive and consistent MAX Challenge experience for our members! This individual must understand and embrace the MAX Challenge culture, work well with the rest of the staff, and be an ambassador for our great program.

QUALITIES, SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Charismatic, passionate, responsible fitness-oriented professional with leadership skills.
• Instructor must be willing to arrive 15 minutes before and stay 15 minutes after the 45 minute class ends.
• Ability to pre-frame and close out the class with an inspiring message is required.
• Instructor must have AED / CPR certification.
• Instructor must be willing to be active on our Facebook secret group.
• Instructor must be committed to genuinely building relationships with our members and staff.
• Someone willing to learn and grow in our program.
• Pursue and complete MAX Challenge Instructor certification (paid by the company).

EXPERIENCE

• Group fitness class Instructing experience required.
• Group fitness certification strongly preferred.
• Kickboxing, HIIT training and strength training instructing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience speaking in front of groups strongly preferred.
• Adoption of healthy nutrition habits preferred.
• Proven successful leadership skills.
• Prior experience Coaching and Motivating others is strongly preferred.

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday morning and / or evening class times (various)

Compensation:

• Hourly pay range per class, paid training, paid required MAX instructor certification
