Pharmacist Part-Time Coverage Needed
Location: Independent Retail & Compounding Pharmacy | New Jersey

Were working with a well-respected, privately owned pharmacy that offers both traditional retail services and non-sterile compounding. Due to a medical leave, they are in immediate need of a part-time pharmacist to join the team. This is a great opportunity that could transition to a long-term or full-time role , based on performance and fit.

Key Position Highlights:

• Start Date: ASAP

• Duration: Minimum 8 weeks, with potential for ongoing or permanent employment

• Days Needed: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday, plus every other Saturday

• Shift Hours: 8-hour shifts scheduled between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM

• Team Support: 34 experienced technicians available on each shift

Responsibilities:

• Perform final verification on prescriptions, especially non-sterile compounds

• Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with pharmacy protocols

• Supervise technicians and assist with workflow and quality assurance

• Engage in compounding activities only as a backup when necessary

Requirements:

• Current New Jersey Pharmacist License in good standing

• Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy experience

• Experience with non-sterile compounding is helpful, but not required

• Open to motivated new graduates with strong retail experience
