Job Description: Seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead Generative AI initiatives within the credit card and financial services domain, leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-driven workflows to improve customer experience, fraud detection, risk assessment, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in product ownership, Agile delivery, Generative AI, financial technology, credit card systems, and AI governance. This role requires ownership of AI product strategy, backlog prioritization, AI model governance, stakeholder collaboration, and business value realization while ensuring secure, ethical, and regulatory-compliant AI solution delivery across enterprise financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define product roadmap and strategy for Generative AI initiatives across credit card business functions
- Lead AI adoption initiatives supporting customer support bots, fraud detection, personalized marketing, and credit risk assessment
- Translate business requirements into actionable user stories, sprint goals, and acceptance criteria for engineering and data science teams
- Manage and prioritize product backlogs aligned with business goals and AI delivery roadmaps
- Own AI model lifecycle performance including reliability, safety, governance, and hallucination mitigation strategies
- Ensure AI initiatives comply with enterprise governance frameworks, GDPR, privacy regulations, and financial compliance standards
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, risk, IT, engineering, and business teams to support secure AI deployment
- Evaluate business KPIs and value optimization including cost reduction, engagement improvement, and fraud prevention outcomes
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and support continuous product improvement initiatives
- Support AI-powered chatbot, fraud analytics, customer personalization, and financial recommendation capabilities
Additional Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with technical teams supporting AI/ML workflows, model deployments, and business integrations
- Ensure AI governance, ethical standards, and enterprise compliance requirements are maintained
- Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Participate in strategic planning, product reviews, and AI innovation discussions
- Support enterprise AI adoption and business transformation efforts
Required Skills:
- Strong experience as a Product Owner within financial services, banking, or credit card environments
- Strong expertise in Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Experience managing Agile/Scrum product delivery and backlog prioritization
- Strong knowledge of credit card systems, fraud detection, customer engagement, or risk assessment workflows
- Familiarity with Python, SQL, data visualization tools, and AI/ML workflows
- Knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and LangChain
- Strong stakeholder communication, leadership, and decision-making capabilities
- Strong understanding of AI governance, compliance, privacy, and ethical AI frameworks
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience required
- Minimum 5+ years of Product Owner experience preferred in financial services, banking, or credit card environments
- Strong knowledge of Generative AI, financial technology, and Agile product management required
- Experience supporting secure and ethical AI deployments in regulated industries preferred
Certifications:
- Scrum certification preferred
- SAFe certification preferred
- Agile Product Owner certification preferred
