Coffee Bar Supervisor
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced supervisor who shares our commitment to quality, convenience, and sustainability, and who is excited to lead our team in delivering exceptional hospitality and a memorable customer experience as we continue to grow.
Who You Are
As the Supervisor, you’ll work to provide leadership and support to the team. You’ll ensure that our team provides a best-in-class experience, from our coffee and beverage programs to our menu offerings. The Supervisor will also foster a positive work environment where our team feels supported and motivated to bring their best every day.
What You’ll Do
- Foster Community & Hospitality: Champion Dartcor’s values by cultivating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests and employees. Ensure that every interaction with customers reflects our commitment to quality, sustainability, and community connection.
- Lead with Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our coffee and food offerings, and provide training and support to the team. Lead by example in both in-store and digital order fulfillment, delivering a customer experience that leaves guests excited to return.
- Maintain Quality & Excellence: Ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, and that inventory meets the needs of our customers and staff. Supervise the cycle of service and actively assist the team as needed.
- Ensure Compliance & Safety: Stay up to date with health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with HR practices and Department of Health regulations. Hold employees accountable to all standards and lead by example in maintaining a safe and respectful work environment.
- Nurture Team Growth: Provide constructive feedback and clear pathways for team members’ growth and development. Identify and act on opportunities to strengthen our team by recruiting and retaining talent aligned with our values.
- Manage Operations: Complete payroll accurately and in accordance with business policies. Oversee inventory management, ordering, and scheduling to ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements
What We Need From You
- Experience: 4+ years of management experience in a similar environment, with a strong background in hospitality and team leadership, and early stage concept development.
- Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.). Fluency in English required.
- Certification: A food handler’s certification is required (or willingness to obtain one). Knowledge of HR practices and safety regulations is preferred.
