JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in Java, AWS and microservices to lead software development initiatives while driving solution architecture for enterprise-scale applications. You will work closely with engineering teams (60%) to ensure high-quality software delivery and collaborate with business stakeholders (40%) to align technology solutions with strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development & Technical Leadership (60%)
• Lead the design, development and deployment of Java-based microservices on AWS.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to ensure best practices in coding, CI/CD and cloud architecture.
• Drive modernization efforts, ensuring scalability, performance and security in enterprise applications.
• Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce engineering excellence.

Solution Architecture & Stakeholder Engagement (40%)

• Partner with business leaders, product managers and enterprise architects to define technology roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and cost-effective solutions.
• Evaluate emerging tech trends (AI/GenAI, cloud services) and assess their applicability.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations and architectural best practices.
• Present technical strategies to executive leadership and influence decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years in software development and architecture, with expertise in Java, AWS and microservices.
• Strong background in BFSI/Insurance domain (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures, hybrid cloud deployments, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in event-driven systems, APIs, and database design.
• Ability to mentor teams, drive POCs, and lead technical discussions.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Enterprise Architecture, digital transformation or ALIP/Fineos/LOMA (Insurance packages).
• Knowledge of GenAI frameworks, cybersecurity standards, and AWS cloud services.
• Prior experience in architecture governance, solution roadmaps, and large-scale system design
