Position Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Care

Location: New York, NY 10004

Job Type: Contract | Travel

Shift: Days | 5x8s

Travel Pay Range: $77 – $80/hour ($3,200 – $3,400 per week)

Position Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Adult Care  for an exciting job in New York, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to adults in home care settings.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and create individualized care plans.

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and nursing protocols.

• Monitor patient conditions and intervene to support optimal outcomes.

• Educate patients and families on care, disease management, and preventive strategies.

• Document all care, interventions, and patient responses in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

• Manage a caseload of 4–8 patients per day.

• Work every other weekend as scheduled.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program

• Active New York State RN license (verified via NYSED)

• Current BLS certification (AHA)

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in Med/Surg, Maternal & Child, Critical Care, or Pediatrics

• Current experience in adult home care

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred:

• Previous experience in adult home care nursing
