*Super hours for those who need to get their kids from the bus stop on time, have an evening job, and/or at school in the evenings*

Temporary/interim Cook Needed for a Regional Day School located in Toms River, Ocean County NJ.

The temporary cook will: provide breakfast and lunch (2 lunch periods) daily for students according to the program's regulations; complete some necessary paperwork; work with a team of staff.

Hours: M-F, approximately 7am-2:00pm

Job Description:

We are looking for a temporary part time Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have some cooking experience in a school and/or restaurant setting, Servsafe certification a plus but not mandatory, must be a self-starter, able to work independently, and possess strong attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong work ethic.

Job Type: Part-time, Temporary, no benefits

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week

Monday to Friday

Experience: Cooking: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person

• Cooking experience
• Must be 18 years or older and possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check (criminal review history & child abuse investigation)
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with our staff and students in a professional manner
• Ability to work without direct supervision
