What you’ll be doing...
The Connected Vehicle Engineering team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineer to join our innovative team. You will be a key technical expert, guiding our clients and internal teams through the entire connected vehicle lifecycle. You'll provide critical consultation from the initial pre-sale and design phase to post-sale integration and long-term device management. This role requires a unique blend of deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to drive the future of connected mobility.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sale & Post-Sale Technical Consultation: Act as the primary technical advisor for customers, leading pre-sale discussions and providing ongoing post-sale support. Develop and respond to complex RFP/RFQ proposals, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
Technology Strategy & Consultation: Advise clients on critical technology decisions, including chipset and module selection, and develop strategic roadmaps for the technology path from LTE to 5G. Provide expert guidance on advanced features such as hyper-precise location (RTK), 5G Standalone (SA), Private Networks, secure cloud interconnects, and eUICC implementation.
System Integration & Testing: Lead the technical execution of projects, including Proof of Concept (POC) testing, to validate solutions. Oversee platform integration and complete system integration to ensure seamless operation between vehicle hardware, software, and network components.
Lifecycle & Certification Management: Manage the end-to-end device life cycle, from initial concept to end-of-life. Manage and oversee the device and module certification process to ensure compliance and a successful market launch.

Technological Curiosity & Drive: You are passionately curious about new technologies and are driven to explore their potential. You are a continuous learner, motivated by the opportunity to innovate and create.
Superior Analytical Acumen: You possess exceptional analytical skills and enjoy applying them to solve tangible, real-world problems that sit at the intersection of technology and business.

Eight or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through one or a combination of work and/or military experience, or specialized training.
Proven experience in a technical role within the telematics, IoT, or automotive industry.
