Responsibilities:
- Provide chairside assistance during procedures, including room setup, instrument passing, temporary crown fabrication, digital scanning, and Invisalign, case management.
- Take and develop dental Xrays with accuracy and full safety compliance.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain equipment per infectioncontrol standards.
- Manage patient flow: greet patients, gather medical histories, review treatment plans and postop instructions, and assist in managing Invisalign patients.
- Maintain accurate charts, treatment notes, and billing information in line with privacy regulations.
- Schedule and manage appointments, patient communication, and followups.
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program and current registration as a Dental Assistant (RDA) in [insert state or region].
- X-ray certification and experience in taking and developing dental X-rays.
- Proficiency in dental software and computer skills for maintaining patient records and scheduling appointments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in patient care.
- CPR certification is preferred but not required.
