Job Title: RN – Mother/Baby
Facility: Overlook Medical Center (Atlantic Health System)
Department: Mother Baby Unit / Maternity
Location: 99 Beauvoir Avenue, Summit, NJ 07901

Contract Details:

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Length: 12 hours
• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Days per Week: 3
• Weekends: 3–4 weekends per month
• Holidays: 1–2 holidays required

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive Mother/Baby nursing care in an acute care hospital setting
• Care for mother and newborn as a couplet
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team through Shared Governance
• Deliver evidence-based care while upholding PRIDE core values (Professionalism, Respect, Involvement, Dignity, Excellence)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Active RN License (required)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care Mother/Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Must be able to care for mother and baby as a couplet
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Education: BSN preferred
• Language: English (Read, Write, Speak)
