Somerset Health Services is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to help support Pain Management. Hours: Monday-Friday daylight Location: Greensburg and Somerset Position Specifics: Primarily an outpatient role specializing in Pain Management. Department Details: The Pain Management office has a strong patient following and strong customer service scores. The office has locations at three separate sites and is looking to expand patient access. The physician also performs injections under fluoroscopy at both UPMC Somerset and also at the Greensburg location. There is one physician and one CRNP within the practice and the team is looking to expand. The APP is responsible to set the standards for the level and quality of care. The APP has responsibility, authority, and accountability for the provision of care through supervision by and collaboration with a physician. The APP manages and provides patient care activities for a group of patients and their families through the application of independent judgment, communication, and collaboration with all team members. The role of the APP encompasses the beginnings of leadership, partnership, collaboration, and supervision. The APP establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with physicians, other health care providers, patients, and their families, to achieve desired patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care.
