Job Description

The Travel Registered Nurse will provide nursing care to patients, particularly those experiencing high-risk pregnancies, in a large hospital setting. The nurse will demonstrate assessment skills, clinical expertise, and maintain a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough, systematic assessments of patients.
• Deliver competent nursing care, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation in patient records, complying with medical guidelines.
• Engage with patients and families in a professional, compassionate manner.
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including proper identification of patients.
• Individualize patient care based on conditions and procedures encountered.
• Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient education and assessments.
• Evaluate and support the completion of patient testing efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Previous travel experience with high-risk pregnancies in large hospital settings.
• Current RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Competent knowledge of growth and development stages from Pediatric to Geriatric.
