Adroit Associates, Inc. has multiple openings for the position of Business Systems Analysts (Ref# BSA2025)

Work Location: Iselin, NJ and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.

Job Duties: Analyze client business problems to be solved with automated systems for various domain areas and technologies. Gather and analyze business and process requirements. Conduct requirement elicitation sessions with business and technical teams and subject-matter experts and capture business and technical requirements. Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs. Liaise with technical teams and business stakeholders to translate business specifications into technical requirements for software applications. Analyze business and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to application problems. Gather business requirements and write design documents, workflows, specifications, and/or diagrams. Examine and solve business problems by accurately analyzing the needs of clients. Improve existing computer systems and review capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Conduct business process analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefit analysis to align IT solutions with business objectives. Formulate system scope and objectives, provide solutions to business problems, and prepare detailed specifications from which systems/programs will be developed. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and/or problems to automate or improve existing systems. Create user stories, use cases, and diagrams. Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. Perform impact analysis and gap analysis. Participate in the execution or support of testing including test plans and test cases. Perform data analysis and troubleshooting for IT related issues. Analyze and review change requests, perform risk analysis, and communicate with business and development teams to understand the impact of the changes required. Implement business analysis best practices.

Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. Plus 6 months of experience in the job offered or 6 months in a related occupation including Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Software Engineer, or related experience. Position requires 6 months of experience with requirements gathering/elicitation or requirements analysis. 40hrs/week.
