Job Summary
Join our finance team as an Accounts Receivable Bookkeeper, where your diligent work will drive the efficiency of our collections. You will be responsible for the collection process, and upholding compliance with financial standards. Maintain positive relationships with clients and internal teams alike.

Duties

• Manage accounts receivable processes, payment posting, and account reconciliation using accounting software Odoo.
• Follow up on overdue accounts through professional negotiation and effective communication to secure timely payments.
• Perform detailed analysis of aging reports and identify discrepancies related to debits & credits, journal entries, or account analysis.
• Conduct data entry with high accuracy, maintaining meticulous records of transactions
• Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing journal entries and supporting documentation for corporate accounting audits.
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone etiquette while addressing client inquiries related to account status or payment options.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all collection efforts, account adjustments, and correspondence for audit purposes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in accounts receivable functions within a corporate setting.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, double entry bookkeeping, and analysis skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software Odoo or similar platforms.
• Excellent data entry skills with 10 key typing proficiency; strong attention to detail for account reconciliation tasks.
• Effective negotiation skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for collections calls.
• Strong math skills combined with analysis skills necessary for account analysis and journal entries.

Education and Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance required
• Experience in accounting and bookkeeping
