Job Overview:

In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients

Qualifications:

Required:

• Must be a certified Surgical Technologist or have an active LPN license.

Certifications and Licenses Required (if applicable):

• Current BLS required (American Heart Association)
• Successful completion of all Orientation and Departmental Programs with documentation

Scheduling Requirements (non-exempt positions):

• Day
• Full-Time

• Shift is Monday-Friday 7am-330pm, with on-call rotation for weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes.
• Ensure patient’s physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative.
• In collaboration with the perioperative registered nurse, the surgical technician will function as a member of the team to organize and administer individualized age-specific care to patients.
• Maintain an environment that facilitates safe patient outcomes, and ensure patients' physiologic responses to surgery are as expected in the surgical suite and across the perioperative division.
