Looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to become part of an already amazing team. Employees have been with this practice anywhere from 5-20 years. This is not a corporate owned office. We take care of our patients on a personal basis in order to provide the best care dentistry has to offer. You need to be caring, gentle handed, and someone the patients can get dental help from without feeling lectured. Let's be realistic, just as many patients stay with a practice because they like their hygienist as they do because they like their dentist. Whether you work full time or part time here, we want this to be an office you are proud to work at

Responsibilities:

• To make our patient's time with us as pleasurable as possible. For some patients, that's easy. For others, not so much
• Review health history, initial oral cavity screening, Oral Cancer screening and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
• Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planning, take X-rays, fluoride application, placement of any needed sealants, and Arestin placement where indicated
• Take intraoral photos and educate the patients on good oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain proper sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of workspace
• Schedule the patient's next hygiene appointment and help fill any openings in the schedule when not treating patients

Schedule: Hours can be flexible

Need Tues, Thursdays and one Sat in Oakhurst for now.

1 Hour per Patient

• Monday: 8-6
• Tuesday: 8-5
• Wednesday: 1-7
• Thursday: 9-5
• Friday: 8-5
• Saturday: 8-1 Two Saturdays a month

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: From $55.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends as needed

All Patients are required to wear a mask upon entering the office. Temperature checks for all the patients. Barriers throughout the office. PPE provided including face shields, gowns and N95/Level 3 surgical masks.

Experience:

• Dental: 2 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
• Local Anesthesia Certification (Preferred)
