Travel Physical Therapist Job
- Core responsibilities: As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will conduct thorough patient evaluations, establish and adjust individualized treatment plans, implement evidence-based modalities, and monitor progress toward functional goals. You’ll document outcomes clearly for continuity of care, coordinate with physicians and rehabilitation teams, and participate in discharge planning to ensure safe, sustainable recovery. You’ll also educate patients and families on therapeutic activities, home exercise programs, and injury prevention, applying best practices to diverse case mixes that may include orthopedics, neurorehabilitation, gait training, and post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Professional growth: This role is designed to expand your clinical repertoire through exposure to varied settings, patient populations, and care delivery models. Expect opportunities for mentorship, leadership involvement in care planning, and the chance to refine specialty techniques that enhance mobility, balance, strength, and functional independence.
- Competitive benefits: Weekly pay ranges from $1,947 to $2,060, with guaranteed hours of 35 per week and a contract defined in weeks, offering clarity and stability. In addition, you will have access to a sign-on bonus and generous housing assistance to support your relocation and temporary housing needs. Extension opportunities are readily available for those who excel and align with partner facilities, enabling you to extend your impact while continuing your journey in the same or new locations.
- Comprehensive support: You are never alone on assignment. The program provides 24/7 support for traveling clinicians, including assistance with credentialing, travel logistics, local onboarding, and ongoing resource access. This robust support network is designed to minimize administrative burdens and maximize your clinical time with patients. Company Values: Our organization is dedicated to empowering physical therapists and other specialists to advance their careers in a supportive, development-forward environment. We prioritize collaboration, continuous learning, and recognition of the expertise you bring to every patient encounter. By fostering mentorship, transparent communication, and equitable opportunities for advancement, we aim to help you achieve your long-term professional goals while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
