Compensation: $65,000 $75,000 per year (with growth opportunity based on performance and experience)
About Kitchen Dynamics Kitchen Dynamics is a fast-growing commercial kitchen equipment service company specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of cooking, refrigeration, and warewashing equipment. We support restaurants, hotels, schools, healthcare facilities, and institutional kitchens where equipment downtime is not an option. Our technicians are on the road every day solving problems, responding to emergencies, and keeping commercial kitchens operational. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Service Manager to help strengthen and lead day-to-day service operations. About the Role This is a hands-on leadership position at the center of our operations. You will oversee daily service operations, technician scheduling, dispatch coordination, job progress, customer communication, and field execution. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced service environment and can bring structure, accountability, and problem-solving to daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, managing moving pieces, and helping build a growing service organization. Key Responsibilities Service Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day field service operations and technician activity
- Ensure jobs are progressing efficiently and completed on time
- Monitor open work orders, parts status, and service timelines
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Help establish accountability, KPIs, and operational reporting
- Coordinate and schedule technicians based on skill set, geography, urgency, and workload
- Manage same-day emergency service calls and changing priorities
- Optimize technician routes and scheduling efficiency
- Balance technician workloads to maximize productivity and response times
- Serve as the central communication point between customers, technicians, vendors, and management
- Provide updates regarding scheduling, delays, ETAs, and job status
- Coordinate parts ordering and delivery timelines to support service completion
- Help ensure an excellent customer experience from intake through job completion
- Monitor technician productivity and job completion performance
- Support onboarding and training of field and office staff
- Help build systems and processes as the company continues to scale
- 3+ years of experience in field service operations, dispatch management, service coordination, or operations management
- Experience in commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, facilities maintenance, mechanical service, elevator service, or similar field-service industries strongly preferred
- Strong scheduling and problem-solving skills in a fast-moving environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing service demands
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Experience with dispatching or field service management software is a plus
