Position: Production Operator

General Summary

As a Production Operator, you will be a fully engaged member of a production line team, operating within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You’ll help ensure performance across safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency while contributing to a high-performing manufacturing environment.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay Rate: $22.95/hour + $1.75/hour shift differential
• Schedule:
• Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Monday & Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Operate major equipment on packaging lines
• Perform minor preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, inspections)
• Support mechanics and technicians with planned maintenance
• Conduct safety, quality, and housekeeping checks
• Clear equipment jams and maintain workflow
• Complete changeovers, washouts, and sanitization
• Utilize computer interface panels to operate equipment
• Follow all SOPs, GMPs, and safety protocols
• Report any safety, quality, or production issues promptly

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Manufacturing experience preferred (not required)
• Basic math and computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
