Financial Analyst

Description We are looking for a Financial Analyst in Middlesex County, NJ area. In this role you will be responsible for forecasting, budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, and more. If you have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, this might be the opportunity for you! Responsibilities: - Create and prepare annual budgets. - Conduct detailed variance analyses and produce period-end profit and loss (P& L) reports. - Create and post monthly journal entries with precision. - Collaborate with the accounting team to identify and resolve financial discrepancies. - Develop forecasts for current-year expenses and income. - Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as VLOOKUP and IF formulas, for complex data analysis and reporting. Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required. - At least 2+ of experience in accounting or financial analysis. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage diverse responsibilities. - Demonstrated expertise in project management and problem-solving. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver effective presentations. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial modeling applications. - Flexibility to adapt to varied schedules based on business needs.
