Veterinary Surgery Technician

Red Bank Veterinary Hospitals in Hillsborough, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Surgery Technician who is excited to grow their career in a state-of-the-art 19,000 sq. ft. facility . Just minutes from Historic Princeton and only an hour from NYC, our hospital offers both a collaborative environment and access to world-class veterinary medicine.
At RBVH Hillsborough, you’ll join a fun-loving, supportive team of highly skilled Technicians and Doctors across a wide range of specialties, including:
- General Practice
- Acupuncture
- Internal Medicine
- Cardiology
- Critical Care
- Radiology (radiograph/CT evaluation and outpatient ultrasound)
- Surgery (soft tissue & orthopedic)
- 24-Hour Emergency Service

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in specialty or emergency medicine and be eager to advance their surgical skills.
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a specialty or emergency hospital
- Proficient in monitoring anesthesia IS A MUST!
- Ability to intubate patients
- Skilled in IV catheter placement and phlebotomy (various sites)
- Strong understanding of disease processes and treatment protocols
- Experience with IV fluid pumps and medication calculations/administration
- Capable of identifying subtle signs of pain, deterioration, or improvement in patients
- Confidence in caring for and monitoring critically ill patients
- CVT preferred
