RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated & experienced Registered Nurse for a Part Time Nursing Supervisor at the Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center.

The Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center is located in Toms River.

Our Registered Nurses assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for our patients in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act for the State of New Jersey and the policies and procedures of the Barnabas Health Behavioral Health Center.

Qualifications:

Required:

• RN Degree
• NJ RN License
• At least 3 years Behavioral Health experience & at least one year Behavioral Health/Chemical Dependency experience in a Supervisor/Management position

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• BLS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

Preferred:

• BSN
• Specialty Certification

Scheduling Requirements :

• Part Time
• Two 8 hour evening shifts and one 12 hour 8a-8p shift

Essential Functions:

• The Nursing Supervisor provides oversight of house wide staffing and patient throughput/bed management
• Ensures enforcement of facility policies and standardized feedback to employees related to policies and clinical performance; Provides supervision and is a resource for orientees; Provides education and mentorship; Provides support and follow through for clinical and nursing quality issues; Provides clinical leadership for medical and psychiatric emergencies, and oversees unexpected events
• Responsible for collection of QA data
