Position Summary:

Waterfront Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Analyst to oversee the reconciliation and management of our invoice funding program with Advance Partners. The AR Analyst will be responsible for coordinating invoice submissions, managing collections data, liaising with Advance Partners, and ensuring proper accounting treatment of all funding transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit weekly funding request packages to Advance Partners every Thursday, including invoices and supporting documentation.
• Ensure that all customer invoices sent are concurrently shared with Advance Partners or batched properly for Thursday submission.
• Reconcile customer payments received by Advance and confirm the settlement of funded invoices.
• Monitor payments received by Waterfront for any funded invoice and immediately coordinate repayment to Advance.
• Post related accounting entries in QuickBooks (soon also in NetSuite), including AR creation, cash funding received, liability to Advance, and interest expense recognition.
• Track and reconcile reserve balances and interest charges deducted by Advance.
• Generate weekly AR aging reports highlighting funded vs. non-funded invoices and open reconciliations.
• Serve as the key point of contact with Advance Partners and internal accounting teams.
• Support month-end close with accurate AR and liability balances.
• Prepare documentation for audit and reporting needs.
