Fully Remote Physics Instructor - AP Physics 1 & C

A ONE INSTITUTE – a fast-growing test-prep and enrichment academy in Ridgefield Park, NJ – seeks an exceptional Physics Instructor to join our elite faculty. This position may be performed remotely from any location .

• Summer (June–August): Tue–Fri 1:45 PM – 10:30 PM │ Sat 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
• Academic Year: Tue–Fri 1:45 PM – 10:30 PM │ Sat 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Interview Process:
Final-round candidates will deliver a 20-minute live teaching demo .

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• At least one year of classroom or small-group teaching experience (AP-level instruction preferred).
• Ability to teach AP Physics 1 and AP Physics C (Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism).
• Clear, engaging, and student-centered teaching style.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States and reliable daily commute (for in-person sessions if assigned).
• Professionalism, punctuality, and a collaborative mindset.

POSITION: PHYSICS INSTRUCTOR (1)



Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach AP Physics 1 courses.
• Teach AP Physics C – Mechanics and Electricity & Magnetism.
• Prepare students for AP exams through concept-driven instruction and problem-solving practice.
• Develop, refine, and update lesson materials, problem sets, and assessments.
• Provide academic guidance and feedback to support student mastery and confidence.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success teaching AP Physics courses with strong student outcomes.
• Deep conceptual understanding of classical mechanics and electromagnetism.
• Experience explaining complex physics concepts in an intuitive, student-friendly manner.
• Comfort with digital whiteboard tools, online teaching platforms, and video-based instruction.
