QC Chemist

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to perform qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses to research new products, improve processes, or test materials.
• Must use techniques like chromatography and spectroscopy to determine the composition, structure, and properties of organic and inorganic compounds
• Must create new products, formulas, or analytical methods, and establish standards for products and processes.
• Must test materials and products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards, while also adhering to all lab safety protocols.
• Must be able to set up, calibrate, operate, and perform maintenance on a variety of laboratory equipment and instruments
• Must keep detailed and accurate records of experiments, observations, and results in lab notebooks
• Must compile and analyze data, interpret findings, and prepare technical reports and papers for colleagues and management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field
• 2+ years of experience as a Chemist within a Pharmaceutical environment.
• Must have proficiency in laboratory techniques, data analysis, and scientific software is essential.
