As an Art Teacher at Sage Alliance, you'll inspire students to explore creativity, build confidence, and express themselves through art in a supportive, therapeutic learning environment. This role combines strong instructional practice with relationship-building to help emotionally fragile students achieve academic and personal growth.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree

• Valid New Jersey Teacher Certification in General Education K-12

• Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff

• Knowledge of diverse learning needs and classroom practices that support students with emotional and behavioral challenges

• Ability to safely implement de-escalation, crisis intervention, and student support strategies

What You’ll Do

• Meet and instruct assigned classes while creating a consistent, emotionally safe learning environment for students

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with Sage Alliance curriculum goals using a variety of instructional methods and materials

• Assess student progress, maintain required records, prepare progress reports, and communicate with parents as needed

• Establish and enforce fair classroom expectations while supporting students' social, emotional, and behavioral growth

• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, school events, and the Sage Alliance teacher evaluation process

Compensation Range: $57K - $63K
