An Administrative Assistant at the company will be a person who excels at organization, the management of multiple peoples' schedules, and strong client communication and relations. The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to take initiative and prioritize daily tasks.
* This role is full time from January through April (with potential overtime), and part time for the remainder of the year.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Serve as point of contact for clients by answering and directing phone calls, taking and relaying messages, greeting and assisting clients in the office, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the reception area.
· Provide support for accountants and staff by managing and coordinating active calendars, scheduling and confirming appointments, assisting with mailings and other communication needs.
· Maintain office organization by sorting and distributing mail, organizing and maintaining files and databases in a confidential manner, managing supplies, and maintaining public areas of the building.
· Complete filing and archiving tasks.
· Assist with submission of tax return extensions.
· Provide assistance with data entry into our database and tax programs.
· Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite (Preferred: Accounting Software Project Management Software)
