Material Handler

Staff Management Group is seeking a Material Handler for our client in Somerset, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Plus overtime

Pay Rate:

• $18 / hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to support production lines by delivering necessary materials and components efficiently. This role requires forklift operation, lifting, and basic writing skills for completing documentation and reconciliation forms.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supply materials and components to designated production lines throughout the shift
• Operate a forklift to transport inventory, supplies, and finished goods as needed
• Accurately fill out inventory and production forms as part of daily responsibilities
• Perform regular lifting and physical movement of materials, ensuring timely line replenishment
• Assist in warehouse organization and staging of materials for production use
• Communicate effectively with production staff and warehouse supervisors regarding inventory needs
• Maintain clear documentation of materials handled and moved
• Follow all safety procedures and operational protocols
• Identify and report any issues with materials, components, or equipment
• Support general warehouse and production duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish.
• Previous warehouse experience required
• Valid forklift certification and hands-on forklift experience
• Ability to lift heavy materials safely and consistently throughout the shift
• Strong writing skills for documentation and reporting
