Location: Nutley, NJ (6pm, 7pm, 8pm, 10pm, 11pm start time)
Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Includes $3.00/hour Overnight Shift Differential
Metro Ambulance is hiring committed, high-performing EMTs for a structured weekday overnight schedule. This position is ideal for EMTs who perform best overnight and want a consistent weekday structure.
CompensationCompetitive base hourly rate (based on experience)
Additional $3.00/hour overnight shift differential

Daytime availability for school, family, or personal commitments
Predictable routine and income
Deliver high-quality BLS patient care in emergency and non-emergency settings
Perform accurate patient assessments and documentation
Safely operate company vehicles
Maintain clinical readiness of equipment and ambulance
Represent Metro Ambulance with professionalism and integrity
Required:
Current NJ EMT certification (or applicable state)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong clinical and communication skills
Reliable availability for overnight weekday commitment
Preferred:
1+ year field experience
EVOC certification
Experience in a high-volume EMS system
EMTs who prefer overnight shifts
Professionals who value consistency and routine
