Role: Test Manager
Location: Florham Park, NJ (Onsite) Interview: Phone/Skype Job Type: ContractWe’re looking for a seasoned Test Manager with deep expertise in #SystemTesting, #Automation, and #PowerSystems to lead cross-functional testing efforts within R&D. This role will define and implement comprehensive test strategies, ensuring quality and performance throughout the SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies covering #SystemLevel, #Integration, and #ValidationTesting
- Review specs and use cases to align test coverage with product goals
- Execute #Regression, #Functional, and #Performance tests
- Lead go/no-go release decisions based on quality benchmarks
- Maintain test automation frameworks and manage traceability
- Support issue reproduction and root cause analysis with dev teams
- Mentor test engineers, promote best practices and innovation
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master’s in #ElectricalEngineering or #ComputerScience
- 10+ years leading #Software and #Hardware testing teams
- Strong hands-on experience with #Modbus, #CAN, and #IEC61850 protocols
- Proven knowledge in #ComplianceTesting, traceability, and defect tracking tools
- Expertise in test planning, estimation, and test infrastructure development
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and cross-team collaboration skills
- Experience in #EmbeddedSystems or #IndustrialAutomation domains
