KPMG is currently seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Tax Technology Practice.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development teams, delegate tasks and provide technical management oversight on projects
- Manage various software development projects for a key product line and practice standard development process leveraging Azure cloud services and DevOps practices
- Design software architecture based on Microsoft Azure and .NET technologies
- Practice standard development process leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM
- Create database schema, develop stored procedures, work with JSON and JSONB datatypes
- Guide development teams in unit testing process, test and troubleshoot applications built on Microsoft Azure, Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, TypeScript and modern SQL and NO SQL databases
Qualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent progressive experience developing software using Microsoft Azure, Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, TypeScript and modern SQL and NO SQL databases with at least two years of experience leading development teams and providing technical management oversight on projects
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred
- Experience leading development teams and providing technical management oversight on projects
- Prior software architecture experience based on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft .NET technologies
- Solid experience testing and troubleshooting applications built on Microsoft Azure, Angular, .NET, .NET Core, C#, TypeScript and modern SQL and NO SQL databases
