Senior Design Engineer

Job Description: + Prepare design drawings with associated sections and details under the direction of the chief engineer and project managers. + Utilize Civil 3D to create surfaces, structural plans, and cut-fill analysis. + Work with reference files and perform redline markups. + Design experience with reading maps and cross-sections. + Engage in light grading, pipe networks, and layout SWM systems. + Interpret zoning maps of local townships. + Manage projects related to stormwater management, utilities, private residential, structural and civil engineering, and parking lots. + Read surveys and topographic maps and begin drawing designs from CAD surveys on the first day. + Mentor and train junior staff members. Requirements: + 8-10 years of civil engineering background . + Proficiency in AutoCAD for project execution. + Experience in land development and site development project scopes. + Expertise in stormwater management for telecom, utility, commercial, and residential projects. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edison, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/hr.
