Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a Full-Time Senior System Engineer. In this role, you will work on Combat System development and test execution as individual contributor in the Weapon Products. The successful candidate will have knowledge or experience in System Engineering of Weapons Control Systems product supporting Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Anti-Air Warfare (AAW) programs to meet cost and schedule. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Who We Are

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline
Minimum of five (5) years experience
Proficient in Linux, C++, Java, and/or Python; experienced with Git version control
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills demonstrated through the application of mathematics and physics
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance at the Secret level; U.S. citizenship required
Desired Skills:
Masters degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience with weaponscontrol system products that support Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD), AntiAir Warfare (AAW), and emerging weapons, including development of firecontrol solutions, trackfiltering algorithms, and weaponguidance techniques
Proven ability to document and brief technical design solutions in written papers and oral presentations for stakeholders
Experience leading other engineerswhether peers or junior staffon technical tasks and projects
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
The base range for this position in New Jersey is $91,000 - $181,113.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
